Who we are

Maple Solar Supply is a division of Solar YYC Inc. We sell solar and battery parts online at maplesolarsupply.ca and at our counter at 3820 7 Street SE, Calgary, Alberta. "We" and "us" mean Maple Solar Supply. "You" means the person buying or using this site. By placing an order or using the site, you agree to these terms.

Product information

We list parts with the maker's model numbers and specifications, taken from the maker's datasheets. Makers change specifications, so check the datasheet for your exact model before you buy, and check that each part suits the rest of your system. Photos show the product type and may differ in small details from the unit you receive.

Advice and guides

When we help you choose parts, at the counter, by email or phone, or in our guides, it's general information to help you pick the right part. It isn't an engineered design or a stamped drawing, and it doesn't replace the permits, inspections or licensed work your project may need. Those depend on where you live and what you're building, so check with your municipality or an electrical contractor before you install.

Prices and orders

Prices are in Canadian dollars. Taxes and shipping are added at checkout. If a price or a listing is wrong, we'll contact you before we fill the order, and you can cancel for a full refund. We can refuse or cancel an order, for example if a part is no longer available or we suspect fraud, and if we do, we refund what you paid.

Availability and timing

Each part shows when it's usually ready: "In stock", "Ready in 2 business days", or "Special order · ready in 5–10 business days". Those are usual times, not promises. We email you when your order is ready. If we can't get a part, we'll tell you and refund it in full.

Payment

You pay at checkout. Card details are handled by our payment provider; we don't see or keep your full card number.

Pickup, shipping and returns

How pickup and delivery work is in our Shipping policy. What we can take back, and how, is in our Refund policy. Both are part of these terms.

Warranty

Parts carry their maker's warranty. We help you with warranty claims, as set out in our Refund policy. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Alberta or Canadian law.

Clearance and surplus

Clearance and surplus listings describe the condition of each item. Read the listing before you buy; the Refund policy says what applies to them.

Your account

If you create an account, keep your login to yourself. You're responsible for orders placed with it.

Site content

The text, photos and guides on this site belong to us or are used with permission. Brand names and datasheets belong to their makers.

Privacy

How we handle your information is in our Privacy policy.

Law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on the site when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
