How to choose roof attachments
The attachment is the part that goes through or onto your roof, so pick it by roof type first. Shingle roofs take a flashed or sealed mount like the Roof Tech RT-MINI II or the Fast-Rack Talon XE. Standing seam metal takes a clamp on the seam, like the S-5!. Then check the spacing your rail and snow load need, and seal every penetration with a sealant made for your roofing.
